The opening in the sauna is the width of our sit bones as recommended and approved by Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists as it supports the pelvic floor. The covered sides of the sauna keep the heat in and direct it to the right place! Allow 3 weeks for seat to be lovingly hand made. Please specify which shape you would like- either Sheila-Na-Gig shape or Oblong.
Material:
The seat is made from untreated pine, deliberately unsealed so you can choose if and how you seal the wood. There is allowance for an electrical cord if you need a heat source in the sauna (single hot plate!). Look for heat source 23cm x 27cm.
